The Santander Performing Arts Center is the last of the great theaters of Reading PA. Surviving it’s sister palaces, the Astor Theater, Embassy Theater and Loew’s Colonial Theater and known as the Rajah it was built in 1921 by the Rajah Shriners. It served many purposes over the years until 2000 when a change of hands bought a name change and a $7 million facelift to the aging theater. Since then It has been home to the Reading Symphony Orchestra, Opera Society, Plays, Broadway Musicals, and National touring artists of many different genres. Up coming events will be more accessible to the inter city with creation of a future shuttle bus service that will ease the stress of finding and paying for parking. There is also the option to experience the up and coming downtown night life that Reading has to offer. With a verity off hotel options in and outside of the city we will be offering package deals and also discounts with payed entry to events at The Santander Performing Arts Center.
